Delete your FloorTalk account

This page explains how to delete your FloorTalk account and the data linked to it. FloorTalk is published by [GEORGE: legal entity name].

Option 1: in the app (immediate)

Open FloorTalk and sign in.
Tap More, then Me. You can also tap More → Account & privacy.
Scroll to Account & privacy and tap Delete my account.
Enter your PIN to confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.

Option 2: request by email (if you can't open the app)

Email [GEORGE: support email] with the subject "Delete my FloorTalk account". Include your name as it appears in FloorTalk and your plant or company name. Do not send your PIN. We will confirm the request with you or your plant. We complete deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.

You can also ask your plant supervisor, who can delete your account from the supervisor dashboard.

What is deleted

Your profile (name, role, title, department, language) and your PIN
Your sessions, push-notification and device tokens, presence and away status
Notification settings and inbox, channel memberships and read receipts
Wellness check-ins, feedback linked to you, and Copilot conversations
Skills, certifications, strengths and performance notes about you, and your schedule slots
Your walkie voice recordings, call-off voice notes and call-off text, and photos you attached to chat
Records of your sign-in attempts
Your list of hidden (reported) messages and the people you blocked, and other people's blocks of you

What is kept (anonymized)

Some plant records are needed for safety, operations and compliance. These stay, but are re-labelled "Deleted user" so they are no longer linked to you:

Chat and walkie text you wrote, alerts, maintenance work orders and shift notes
Emergency acknowledgements and roll-call records, clock-in/out events, and call-off dates
Content reports you filed, or that were filed about your messages (kept as moderation records)
Policy acknowledgements. The policy and date are kept. Your typed signature, IP address and device information are erased.

Messages other people wrote that mention you are not changed. Anonymous feedback was never linked to your account. Backup copies are overwritten within [GEORGE: backup retention period, e.g. 30 days].
