FloorTalkPlant-floor communication

Terms of Use

Effective September 28, 2026

These terms cover your use of FloorTalk as an employee or contractor of a business ("your plant") that has arranged FloorTalk access. Your plant's own agreement with [GEORGE: legal entity name] governs the business relationship. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement applies.

1. Your account

Your plant creates your account and gives you a PIN. Keep your PIN private. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell your supervisor or us right away if you think someone else knows your PIN. You can delete your account at any time (see Delete account).

2. Acceptable use

There is zero tolerance for abusive or objectionable content. You can report any message in the app (⋯ › Report message) and block people you don't want to hear from. Your plant's supervisors review reports within 24 hours [GEORGE: confirm this review commitment] and can remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.

3. Safety features are an aid, not a replacement

Emergency broadcasts, SOS, alerts, roll call and headcount help your plant communicate. They depend on devices, batteries, connectivity, notification settings and operating-system limits (for example, a phone in silent mode). They do not replace your plant's alarm systems, emergency procedures, or calling emergency services. In an emergency, follow your plant's procedures and call your local emergency number.

4. AI features

The Translator, Copilot, Fix Library drafts and meeting summaries use automated systems, including OpenAI (see the Privacy Policy). Their output can be wrong or incomplete. Always check critical instructions, such as lockout/tagout, chemical handling and machine safety, against approved procedures and qualified people. Copilot answers only from the manuals your plant provides. It will say when something isn't found.

5. Content

You keep any rights you have in what you post. You allow your plant and us to store, show, translate and process that content only to provide FloorTalk to your plant.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep FloorTalk available and secure, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update features. If we make material changes to these terms, we will update this page.

7. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, FloorTalk is provided "as is". Except where your plant's agreement says otherwise, [GEORGE: legal entity name] is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of FloorTalk. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [GEORGE: governing-law state], except where your local law gives you rights that cannot be waived.

9. App stores

If you downloaded FloorTalk from Apple's App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and [GEORGE: legal entity name], not Apple or Google. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for FloorTalk. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to iOS downloads where it is required.
